Amazing event!
I’d like to thank Akari, Motoko-sensei and Hiro to make it possible for the kids in Japan and US to be connected. I can’t imagine how much time and effort that you guys put into this!
When Akari told me about this event, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after the pre-meeting, my daughter got better idea of what was expected so she was able to prepare a presentation about Halloween (even though she couldn’t present because she couldn’t figure out how). After the event, she was really happy and told me that she had a lot of fun! I’m certain that kids will have board way of thinking thanks to this opportunity to interact with kids internationally and from different states.
Because you led the kids to this point, I got a feeling that kids would initiate those activities in future to stay connected.
Thank you so much for letting my daughter be a part of this wonderful network!

交流会を国際的にここまで広げるまでの、熱意、時間、努力、本当にすごいです。 あかりちゃん、モトコ先生、ヒロさんに感謝！
最初声をかけてもらった時は、どんなもの何だろう？？？ という感じでしたが、うちの子は事前ミーティングがあったからプレゼンも用意できて(見せ方が分からず、作っただけになってしまったようだけど。。。) 実際参加した後は、とにかく「楽しかったー」と言ってました。 あの交流会で国を超えた人の輪や視野が広がり、子供達にとってプラスになる事は間違いないですね。
ここまで3人が子供達を導いてきてくれたから、子供達からの意見、意思でこの活動が続けられていくようにも思えます。

子供達の英語力に不安があり、理解できるのかを心配していましたが、ゆっくり丁寧に英語で話してくれて理解できた！と喜んで話してくれました。
また、準備も子供達で力を合わせて行い、一緒に発音練習をしている姿を見て嬉しく思いました。
貴重な体験をさせていただきありがとうございました。
